After purchasing a 100 year old main stone house, we set our sight on the adjacent small house, which had been abandoned for 50 years. Both built from local stone, with walls half a meter thick, we have restored them with natural materials, brocante details, adding comfortable and stylish modern comforts, resulting in a mix of authenticity and inspiring design.
Stancija Srem thus comprises of 2 stone houses, both facing South, towards the gravel courtyard, shadowed terraces and infinity pool which blends harmonically with surrounding and unspoiled nature. The main house has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the upper 2 floors. It can accommodate up to 8 guests. There are 2 lovely terraces adjacent to the bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is an open plan rustic kitchen with dining area, living area and a fire place. The side house by the pool is completely independent from the main house, having its own kitchen, living space and outdoor terrace, shaded by the century old mulberry tree. There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping additional 4 guests.
